Health REBELs Training Course: Week 1

Week 1 Focus: Overview and Understanding

Welcome in to the Health REBELs Training Course! The focus of this first week is to give an overview of the program as a whole as well as each of the 6 areas of Healthy Habits (Mindset, Activity, Nutrition, Sleep, Stress Management, and Support/Accountability). There’s a lot that we’ll go over in the next 12 weeks, so let’s get you ready.

As you go through this program, you will have 4 major options for how to access these lessons. You can watch each lesson individually, you can watch them all in one large playlist, you can listen to each lesson as an audio lesson, or you can listen to the entire week’s content as one large audio lesson.

Choose whichever option(s) works best for your learning style or for your schedule demands. Like everything else we’ll do during the program, the top priority is NOT on the absolute most perfect option, but instead on picking the option that is most individually appropriate for yourself. Let’s call a spade a spade… This is the longest lesson in the entire program. It may also be amongst the most important because it will tell you everything you need to know about the program and how to be successful.

This lesson, we’ll go over focus and purpose, how to access the program, expectations for the program, central tenets, how the program works, and how you can succeed in the program.

This lesson is a little lengthy and has a lot of content. I strongly suggest taking notes as you go through this lesson.

Mindset isn’t a concept that gets talked about a lot in Health and Fitness programs, but it truly is the absolutely most crucial place to begin.

All of your success, all of your failure, will be predetermined in your mind. Failing to address this is the surest way to guarantee long term failure.

In this lesson, we’ll discuss why mindset is so important, a visual model of what Mindset is, and the most important Mindset factor that every REBEL must adopt.

Exercise is one of the most commonly talked about and commonly experienced components with health and fitness. Unfortunately, it’s the most misused and abused.

In this video, we are going to redefine the purpose behind activity and define what “Activity” actually refers to.

Make no mistake about it, even though this is the shortest lesson of the week, it is a prioritization that is crucial to your health and your long-term success. We’ll talk about why we focus so much on sleep, make a painful confession, and show you how to focus on sleep.
